Note: WellPet Humane is Atlanta's pet charity clinic. Our prices are not free but low-cost and affordable. As a result we are very busy. Please be patient. We are trying to help as many people and pets as we can and still practice excellent veterinary medicine.

Our Payment Policy

In order to keep our prices affordable we require payment in full at the time services are rendered.

Arranging an Appointment

Office visits are by appointment, which can be requested online or by calling the clinic between 9.00 a.m. to 12 noon and 1 p.m. to 4.00 p.m (770-455-1011). Our operation and clinic appointments are often booked weeks in advance. A WellPet team member will contact you to schedule a time based on availability.

Appointment Confirmation

Your appointment with WellPet must be confirmed 24 hours prior to your scheduled time by you for it to be valid. You can confirm your appointment by:

  1. Calling 770-455-1011 option 2 or
  2. Sending an email to info@wellpethumane.com

Please include your name, pets(s) name and date and time of appointment when you confirm.

Important: You do not have a confirmed appointment unless we hear from you 24 hours prior to your appointment time. Your appointment slot will be filled from our stand-by list and you will only be seen as space becomes available.

Cancelations

If you are unable to attend, please telephone and cancel no later than 24 hours prior to your appointment. We depend on you to keep your word that you will be there.  If you confirmed an appointment and did not keep it, you will then be required to post a nonrefundable deposit for any future appointments.

At the Clinic

We try our best to keep appointment times. However, at times we have a large number of critically ill pets that turn to WellPet for life-saving treatment. We may, at times run late. Please allow around an hour for your visit.

Please keep dogs on a lead, and also muzzled if they bite. Cats must be transported in secure cat carriers, not boxes.

If You Call for an Appointment

To make an appointment by phone for our clinic (open Monday - Saturday, 8am to 4 pm, closed from 12 noon to 1 pm for lunch) call:

  • (770) 455-1011 for a WellPet appointment.

Here are some important things to remember:

  • Because of the high-volume of phone calls received by WellPet, you may reach voice mail when you call this number. If this is the case, please leave a detailed message on the voice mail. The message should include your name, a daytime phone number, the time you will be available for a callback, the reason for your call, and when you hope to schedule an appointment.

    The staff are committed to providing you with excellent service. Your thoughtful use of voice mail will help in this process.
