The hospital joined the PetVet Care Centers network in 2017 (FKA: WellPet Animal Hospital) and continues to dedicate themselves to upholding their reputation for compassionate veterinary care. Our new, state-of-the-art hospital is set to open in the Fall of 2024 (a few short months!!) and features a cutting-edge surgical suite, 5 spacious exam rooms, an open-concept treatment area, and a brand new ultrasound in our designated diagnostic imaging room.

Since its opening, our team has been a trusted provider of high-quality veterinary care to clients all over Doraville and Northern ATL. We officially joined our network at PetVet in 2017, and in the coming months will relocate to a brand new building in Brookhaven, Georgia! Our intention is to provide gold star service to the pets and people of DeKalb County, and build a practice with exceptional culture and collaboration. Our hospital provides high-quality, day-time urgent care in addition to a wide range of wellness, diagnostic, and surgical services in our spacious, open plan hospital in a fantastic neighborhood. Our veterinary team has many years of collective experience and is supported by a full complement of technicians and support staff.
We are seeking a veterinarian with an interest in leadership and 3-5 years experience in clinical practice, to help shape the next chapter of our hospital as we move into our brand new facility in Brookhaven, Georgia! Position Overview: The Medical Director (MD) is responsible for providing strong leadership for the hospital, managing and mentoring associate veterinarians, and assuring regulatory compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine. The MD is also responsible for maintaining an environment of teamwork in which the highest quality veterinary medicine is delivered. In partnership with the hospital leadership team, the MD holds shared responsibility for the financial health of the hospital, directing staff and the overall management of practice operations. The MD also serves as a staff veterinarian in addition to the administrative and leadership duties of the MD role. Effective MDs demonstrate strong work and professional ethics, a positive attitude, and uphold a high standard of patient care. They are part of the foundation upon which successful veterinary practices are built and directly impact and influence hospital culture and morale.
